Where To find Osaka Castle

You can find Osaka Castle in Izumi Settsu in Osaka Prefecture. It’s located just southwest of the river.

All Samurai Daisho Locations

One of the Samurai Daisho is patrolling the southeastern area of the castle grounds. You can make use of the haystacks nearby to find a prime position to assassinate your target.

Another Samurai Daisho is guarding a construction site just southeast of the castle. He won’t be moving around so he should be an easy target to find.

The other Daisho is in the main keep, near the location of the Legendary Chest. He will be patrolling the western, northern, and eastern sides of the area. He can be a bit tricky to take down as he moves frequently and enters a small, narrow hallway.

Osaka Castle Kura Key and Legendary Chest Location

The Kura Key in Osaka Castle is located just east of the main keep. It’s inside a house with a pond in front of the entrance. Once you get the key, you can use it to open the Legendary Chest.

The Legendary Chest in Osaka Castle is in the main keep. You’ll have to climb up to the upper floor. You can be discreet in your climbing as Naoe or fight your way to the top as Yasuke.

Inside the Legendary Chest, you can collect the Peasant Clothes Light Armor for Naoe and the Assassination with Attack Engraving. Equipping this armor will grant your attacks a 3% chance to remove 1 health segment on hit. You can pair it with high-attack-speed weapons to maximize the chances of activating its effect.

Valuable Object: Kano Painting

The valuable item you can find in Osaka Castle in Assassin’s Creed Shadows is the Kano Painting. You can find it in a building just southwest of the castle. Find an unfinished building nearby and head to the small building north of it. You should find the painting within its walls inside.
