Takatsuki Castle is among the many castles you can infiltrate in Assassin’s Creed Shadows for high-value loot. Additionally, defeating the Samurai Daisho patrolling the area also rewards you with Mastery Points. Defeating all of them will allow you to open the Legendary Chest, which contains rare and valuable gear.

You need to be extra careful when infiltrating this castle, as guards can sound an alarm. When the alarm is activated, you need to manually disable it by finding its location.

Where To Find Takatsuki Castle

Takatsuki Castle is found in Izumi Settsu at the edge of the river northeast of Osaka Castle.

Samurai Daisho 1

One Samurai Daisho is in the southeastern corner of the castle grounds. There will be other guards patrolling the area, so be careful about how you assassinate this target.

Samurai Daisho 2

The next Samurai Daisho is in the southwestern area of the castle. It’s an open area, so you might need to take down the surrounding guards before challenging the main target.

Samurai Daisho 3

The last Daisho is patrolling the castle keep. This is convenient, as you can head straight to the Legendary Chest after taking down the last target.

Takatsuki Castle Legendary Chest Location

Similar to other castles, you can access the trapdoor on the roof of Takatsuki Castle as Naoe to get inside. Alternatively, there is an open window on the side of the castle that you can use to gain access to the interior. Once there, you can open the Legendary Chest.

The chest contains the Legendary Headgear Peasant Hat. This item provides 100% of an Adrenaline Chunk when entering combat. This can come in handy when trying to finish a fight as fast as possible.

Valuable Object: Kano Painting

The Kano Painting in Takatsuki Castle is located between the first Samurai Daisho and the main castle keep. There is also a nearby alarm tower that you should take note of in case you blow your cover.
