As important as the secrets and locations in this game are, they are not quite easily accessible, and no location encapsulates this more so than the Blackbridge Grotto.
Blackbridge Grotto is one of the permanent additions in the game that helps you unlock new upgrades. This location gives you access to one offline terminal during each run, making your run a hell of a lot easier. How To Unlock the Blackbridge Grotto in Blue Prince?

There are a series of steps you need to follow if you wish to unlock the Blackbridge Grotto. You need to first power up the Laboratory and then solve the puzzle in the lab. This may seem easy but can get a bit complex. Follow the steps below:
- Draft the Boiler Room and turn on all the steam tanks. Make your way to the lower floor and head to the unshuttered steam tank.
- Follow the steam flow along the pipes and fix the red tubes along the way, ensuring that the pipes connect to the main generator.
- Head to the upper floor and divert the power to the Laboratory.
- Start up the steam generators in the Boiler Room and divert power to the lab (right).
- Return to the lab and over to the circuit board, and you now have to solve the periodic table puzzle. If you wish to understand the puzzle and its solution, you can check out our guide for the same. If not, simply press the switch labelled 9 followed by the switch labelled 3. This will divert electricity and unlock the Blackbridge Grotto.
