In Schedule 1, one of the major hurdles you face to your drug peddling operations is law enforcement. Cops roam around throughout the city and can subject you to random searches. They also set up police barriers in various locations. Whether you have some illegal goods on your person or in the trunk of your car, these barrier scans will reveal all of those.

The police barrier searches can lead to hefty fines and confinement of your prized products. And these barriers remain active from 12 pm to 5 am, which is a considerable portion of the day. However, you can easily bypass these checkpoints if you know how. In this guide, we’ll explain how you can avoid the police barriers in Schedule 1.

Rather than just walking up to the barrier on foot, you just need to take the sidewalk. Doing so will allow you to bypass a police check altogether. Or, you can also take one of the narrow lanes between two buildings to get to your destination instead of the main road. It’s that simple.

Alternatively, if you don’t have any illegal substances on you at the moment, you can submit to the police checking and cross the barrier without any fear.

Unfortunately, avoiding the barriers while driving isn’t as simple. If you’re using your vehicle’s trunk to transport a variety of illegal substances, you will be arrested if you drive to one of the barriers. Instead, you can park the vehicle at a distance from the police barrier. Then, transfer the illegal substances from the car’s trunk into your inventory. Then, use the sidewalks to cross the barrier while walking. Deposit the items in your apartment or at the docks.

While this tactic works, you may need to make several trips to and from your vehicle to transfer all of the illegal substances across the barrier.

If you’re in the early game sections, you’ll likely encounter two police barriers located near Taco Ticklers and the Docks Warehouse. Since both of these locations are crucial for your progress, you’ll need to bypass the barriers often. If you fail to use the methods we mentioned above, you can also try to evade arrest as a last-ditch effort. If you escape the police successfully, you will be able to hold on to all of the illegal substances in your inventory. Also, you’ll save a considerable amount of money in penalties.
