Why You Should Get the Kept Confidence Hand Cannon?
You should get the Kept Confidence because hand cannons are always a powerful choice for all aspects of the game. They are a community favorite for a reason as they feel good, sound good, and almost always perform well. Here’s our list of why you should get Kept Confidence Hand Cannon:
- Only current Strand Adaptive Frame
- One of the most consistent frames of hand cannons
- Can be used in all levels of PvE and PvP content.
How to Obtain the Kept Confidence in Destiny 2
Kept Confidence can be obtained from either Season of the Witch seasonal activity. This includes end of activity rewards for Altars of Summoning or Savathun’s Spire, Season of the Witch Weekly Challenges, and turning in Witch’s Engrams. Once the weapon has been earned you can focus it at the Ritual Table in the H.E.L.M for Witch’s Engrams, Glimmer, and Legendary Shards. These seasonal activities will only be available until the end of Season 23. Kept Confidence can also be crafted at the Enclave once its Deepsight Pattern has been completely unlocked.
Kept Confidence PvE God Roll
Our choices for the Kept Confidence PvE God Roll are:
|Column 3 Trait||Loose Change|
|Column 4 Trait||Collective Action|
Hand Cannons can be slightly lack luster in PvE due to their low fire rate and low base reload. However, they still pack a massive punch and are great for anti-champion weapons in end game PvE. Recently, they have received a few minor buffs to their primary pain points make them a suitable weapon regardless of content.
Overall, there is really only one perk combination that you should be striving for and that’s Loose Change and Collective Action. This combo boosts your stats making the weapon feel significantly better and gives a damage boost when using subclass collectibles. The perks do require you to build around subclass verbs and collectibles, it can fit into any subclass focused build. The other perks selected don’t matter nearly as much so feel free to experiment with your barrel and masterworks for what suits you best.
Overall, adaptive frames are one of the more consistent frames for hand cannons finding a good balance between raw damage and manageable downsides making it compatible with any playstyle.
Other great Hand Cannons to substitute for this weapon in PvE include:
Kept Confidence PvP God Roll
Our choices for the Kept Confidence PvP God Roll are:
|Column 3 Trait||Killing Wind|
|Column 4 Trait||Eye of the Storm|
Hand Cannons really shine in PvP as they are the ultimate dueling weapons. With decent range and accuracy, while still packing a punch, these weapons are PvP mains favorites. While META’s tend to shift and change often in Destiny’s PvP sandbox, Hand Cannons of all Frames always find a way to compete.
Hand Cannons are a really good dueling weapon so we are going to focus on stats that help the gun perform better and gives us more accuracy and range to ensure we win our gun fights. While there are not a lot of PvP focused perks in the perk pool, the pairing of Killing Wind and Eye of the Storm perks gives us the best chance to win our fights and give us an advantage in the next one.
Other great Hand Cannons to substitute for this weapon in PvP include:
- Igneous Hammer, from Trials of Osiris
- Eyasluna, from the Grasph of Avarice Dungeon
- Nation of Beast, from the Last Wish Raid
