In Destiny 2, Mods and Gear are probably one of the most important ways to make your guardian powerful in the game and in season 19 we have some new options to choose from. This guide will explain mods briefly and list all Destiny 2 Mods to show what’s coming in the latest Season of Destiny 2. Additionally, we explain which are the best new Mods. Season 19, Season of the Seraph introduced new and likely powerful mods that you’ll want to collect right away.
Destiny 2 Artifact Mods
Artifacts can increase power pushing your character beyond the power cap and they have important mods that come seasonally used to do the hardest content in the game. You increase the Artifact rank by earning experience points through bounties and seasonal challenges, which can go on indefinitely.
This artifact will also reset seasonally, requiring you to re-level every season. But don’t worry, if you miss a season, it’s not detrimental. Think of the artifact as not only important for your overall power level but quintessential for mods in harder content.
As you earn experience and gain more available points, you’ll get access to weapon mods that break shields for champions, overload, barrier and unstoppable. Without these mods equipped via your arms, champions will be very difficult or impossible to kill at higher-level content.
The Artifact is not only important for your power level but also important at the end game to take down the hardest and most annoying champions in the game. The end goal for PvE is to reach at least 1595 which is the minimum threshold for Grand Masters, the hardest and most lucrative content for 3-player PvE in the game. Trials of Osiris weekend PvP event, also factor in your power level, whereas crucible PvP matches do not.

The Best new Mods
An Advance Scout is a good option for defining champions even on Grandmaster difficulty, relatively cheap for what it offers.
Energy Diffusion Substrate is a stackable chest mod. Very nice boost to your resistance definitely worth taking it as soon as possible.
Low-Entropy Superconductor & Lord Kelvin’s Basilisk are good for guardians that use Stasis, giving them a great option to deal with Overload and unstoppable Champions in Legendary or Master Lost Sectors or even Grandmasters. They cost only one energy and are very powerful at and-game.
Lucent Finisher can be an extremely useful support mod in end-game content, including Grandmaster Nightfalls or Raids. It gives you the ability to provide your teammates with heavy ammo, and unlike the regular finisher mods, Lucent Finisher doesn’t drain your super energy.
Retrofit mods should be something you pick up quickly. They add raw stats to your build, and no matter if you are a beginner or veteran and already have high-stat armor, these small bonuses will improve your efficiency and game experience.
Solo Operative is a flat bonus to damage and a great mod for solo content including Higher difficulty Lost Sectors.
Weakened Clear is an obligatory pick for Witherhoard users. The Exotic Witherhoard was nerfed in the latest patch but still, it’s one of the strongest weapons and will continue to be used by one of the guardians during Nightfalls and even PVP. The Mod reloads stowed weapons making it fantastic solo and in the group. How to use it? Fire Witherhoard to weaken a boss, switch to an auto-loading weapon, unload, switch back to Witherhoard, and repeat.
