Now a few months away from release, discover what the developers are offering in Dragon’s Dogma II: Deluxe Edition and Pre-Order Bonuses
The sequel to the much loved fantasy RPG of the same name, Dragon’s Dogma II will release on Playstation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Windows PC on March 22, 2024. Developed and published by Capcom, the game is now available for pre-order on all available platforms. Dragon’s Dogma II: Deluxe Edition
The Deluxe Edition of Dragon’s Dogma II is available on all platforms, including Playstation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Windows PC (via Steam) for $80. Additionally, there is a Standard Edition of the game available you can buy for $70. However, this comes with the game only and no cosmetic or DLC extras unless you pre-order. You can place a pre-order of any edition now through the official Dragon’s Dogma site.
The following items are included in the Dragon’s Dogma II Deluxe Edition:
- Explorer’s Camping Kit – a special camping kit becomes available for purchase at shops in-game.
- 1500 Rift Crystals – can be used to hire pawns or purchase special items.
- Dragon’s Dogma Music and Sound Collection – enables the ability to change some in-game music and sound effects to those of the original Dragon’s Dogma.
- Wakestone – restore the dead to life.
- Art of Metamorphosis – Edit the appearance of the Arisen or of a pawn.
- Harypysnare Smoke Beacons – emits a scent enticing to harpies.
- Ambivalent Rift Incense – change your pawn’s inclination.
- Heartfelt Pendant – can be offered as a gift.
- Makeshift Gaol Key – key to the gaol.
There is also a slight difference in what purchasers of the Deluxe Edition will receive as a pre-order bonus. We’ll elaborate further below, but the Superior Weapons Quartet and the Ring of Assurance both come with a purchase of the Dragon’s Dogma II Deluxe Edition.
Dragon’s Dogma II: Pre-Order Bonuses
The pre-order bonus buyers will receive if they purchase any edition of the game before March 22,2024 will include the Superior Weapons Quartet. This will include a sword, daggers, staff and bow which will be added to your storage in game. You only need to speak to the innkeeper to access your storage.
Deluxe Edition Pre-Order Bonuses
If you purchase the Deluxe Edition of the game before March 22, 2024 you will receive the Superior Weapons Quartet and the Ring of Assurance. Like the weapon pack, the ring item will also be added to your storage in game. You can move place them in your own inventory by speaking to the innkeeper to open your storage. The Ring of Assurance is obviously an in-game accessory, but at this time we don’t know if it’s just cosmetic or if it grants some kind of in-game buff.
