Who Should Use Blacksmith Armor Sets (Heavy Armor)

Tank Build Guide for Enshrouded Game

Blacksmith has armor sets primarily dedicated to warriors, barbarians, and tanks. Those are classes and skill trees enshrouded that will prefer and highly benefit from the heavy armors he offers. Those playstyles engage in close melee combat, so extra physical and magic protection that heavy armor from Blacksmith provides is essential. In summary, if you use melee weapons, use primarily red skill trees, or struggle with survival, you should consider one of the blacksmith-crafted armor sets in Enshrouded.

However, Battlemage, which is considered a “mage class,” and skills and class are on the blue side of the skill tree, will also typically wear heavy armor made by blacksmiths. Battlemage is a unique type of class with both defensive and offensive capabilities. They use heavy armor and shields for extra protection and pair them with healing skills or staff charges. Then, when attacked, swap to offensive weapons, for example, a hand or a staff.

Remember: If you struggle with survival, you can use higher protection armor, healing skills, and healing staff charges.

Fur Armor Set

Fur armor is the first and basic armor you will gain access to as soon as you save the blacksmith from their ancient vault. It’s level 5 armor that provides no significant bonuses but fundamental physical and magic protection. It’s a decent choice before you unlock more powerful options.
