Here is how to find the merchant Kin-No-Suke and get the letter as part of the Iron Hand Guild quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, you have a variety of goal boards to accomplish, including the Iron Hand Guild. Locating all five members of this specific guild is a major undertaking. This mission won’t require you to take the letter by force; rather, disguise yourself and be mistaken for one of their bandits.

This tutorial will show you where to find Merchant Kin-No-Suke and extract the letter from the hint to get one step closer to the Iron Hand.

How To Complete Dirty Dealing in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Set a waypoint on the quest and travel to the closest fast travel point. Now, make your way to the objective. This will be situated to the east of the Ado River Valley by a stream between a frosty region.

Once at the location, you can either choose to complete the mission in stealth or attack mode. Assassinate the seven bandits you see. After that, to the left of the area, you will see a small campsite with a table in the middle. Approach closer, and a blue orb will appear on your screen. Loot the object on the table as prompted, and you will receive the “Letter from Bandit Chief.”

How To Complete Trading Pass in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

You are tasked with providing the letter to the merchant in Obama as per the objective board. Merchant Kin-No-Suke is located in Obama, in the region of Wakasa itself, between the trading port and Kara Market.

Make your way to the location by fast-traveling to the nearest point. Once there, approach the merchant and start a conversation with him. You will be prompted with three text choices. Choose “Give Bandit Letter.” The merchant confuses you for one of his own and gives you a task to take some stuff from the back, where there are fewer prowling eyes.

After the cutscene ends, turn back and enter the small hut behind you. You will see a lootable object. Pick up the “Letter Regarding Obama,” which will then provide you with more insights and questions about the Iron Hand.

After finishing the quest, you receive:

• Armor Damage after Ability – Engraving
• 1 Mastery Point
• Letter Regarding Obama
