How To Find Takahashi Ichi-Hime in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Ichi-Hime is part of the Twisted Tree quest. The main objective of this quest is to kill Takahashi Inoshichi, the patriarch. However, you should not kill him before you talk to Ichi-Hime first.

This is because if you kill the patriarch of the family, then Ichi-Hime will disappear, leading to a loss of rewards. Therefore, it is advised to first talk with her before you end Inoshichi’s life. The game even points you toward this outcome by mentioning that she will be free if her father dies as a clue.

You can find her waiting at the Umenomiya Taisha Shrine. This area is to the west of Nijo Palace. Once you get close, you can locate her using the Observe feature.

How To Defeat Takahashi Ichi-Hime

She is not really very hard to defeat. Simply, getting up close and using the assassinate ability is enough to put her into the ground. You don’t even need to sneak around to do so as this is not a hostile area. However, you should reconsider before you do so.

To spare your target, you need to get close to her and hold the aim button. This will let you talk and spare her. Sparing her will get you the rewards you would have received normally. Otherwise, if you are not feeling so generous, you can always choose to simply walk up and end her life.

However, if you are at a lower level, assassinating her might only drain her health considerably, after which you will have to fight her. This is still not a very difficult task as she is not particularly strong or unique from other enemies. She uses a three-hit combo, which can be deflected so wait for your chance to counter.
