The Gigantrite in Throne and Liberty is a massive whale-like creature that soars the sky, one that you can climb!
Throne and Liberty boasts a vast world to explore, filled with enemies, quests, and secrets. Parts of the map at the corners may seem inaccessible. In such instances, Gigantrite is your best bud. You’ve definitely heard of him or seen him. This giant whale-like creature soars high over Solisium skies and patrols across the map.
As the giant’s shadow glides across the ground, you may want to take it to the skies for a spin yourself. The game knows this, and thankfully, you can mount this beautiful creature.
In this guide, we shall go over how you can climb the Gigantrite.
How to Board the Gigantrite
The Gigantrite soars high up in the sky and patrols the entire map. The creature, however, doesn’t descend or land under any circumstances. Therefore, if you wish to board this beast, you must meet it on its turf in the skies. For this, you will need the Glide Morphs. These can be unlocked by progressing through the game’s quests. This ability is essential as you will need it to glide and board the creature.
Next, you should find the highest point on the map, and gain higher ground than the Gigantrite. The Starlight Observatory Ruins are the perfect spot for this, as the creature routinely flies past this area every three hours. Go to the Starlight Observatory Ruins and look up to the highest tower in the area. Grapple up to the top and wait for the Gigantrite to appear.
We recommend checking the in-game schedule and planning accordingly to Gigangtrite’s route before ascending the Ruins.
Glide Towards the Gigantrite
As the Gigantrite glides towards you, prepare yourself to make a jump. Right as the creature’s head passes in front of you, jump and use your Glide Morph to glide toward the Gigantrite. Aim for its back, the most spacious part of its body. We recommend you time the jump correctly, as missing the que would mean waiting another three hours for the creature to spawn again.
