Kuji-Kiri is a ritual of medicinal meditation that is supposed to rid one’s body of demonic influences. In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Naoe can initiate Kuji-Kiri meditations in various locations to achieve inner peace. This is a fun, optional activity that involves passing quick-time events to form hand signs. The Seirinji Temple Kuji-Kiri is one of the 22 locations in AC Shadows where you can perform Kuji-Kiri.

Here’s how you can find the Seirinji Temple Kuji-Kiri location and complete it in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Seirinji Temple Kuji-Kiri Location in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

The Seirinji Temple is located in Kameyama City within the Tamba Region. The city itself is situated in the southeastern part of the region, southeast of the Tamba Highlands. To find the temple, head to the southeastern corner of the city. You can also refer to the image shown above.

Once outside Seirinji Temple, enter through the western entrance and jump over the wall to your right. You will find the Kuji-Kiri spot in the middle of a clearing among the trees.

How To Complete the Seirinji Temple Kuji-Kiri in AC Shadows

The Seirinji Temple Kuji-Kiri involves completing a sequence of quick-time events. When you initiate the Kuji-Kiri, four circles will appear on your screen, each displaying different inputs depending on your controller or keyboard. Your objective is to press the buttons in the correct sequence until the Kuji-Kiri is complete. Here’s the sequence for this Kuji-Kiri:

• Top > Right > Bottom > Left+Right

As you progress, the tempo gradually increases, making the sequence more challenging. Additionally, the button indicators will start disappearing, requiring you to rely on rhythm and memory to complete the Kuji-Kiri. If you prefer a simpler experience, you can enable Auto Mode for quick-time events. Here’s how you can do it:

• Options > Gameplay > Quick Time Events > Auto

Activating Auto Mode won’t affect the story, and you still obtain achievements and trophies related to Kuji-Kiri.

Seirinji Temple Kuji-Kiri Rewards

Upon completion of Seirinji Temple Kuji-Kiri in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, you are rewarded with 500 EXP and one Knowledge Point. Knowledge Points can be used to upgrade your knowledge level, which unlocks new and better skills for both Naoe and Yasuke.

There is also a food vendor to the north of the temple. You can visit them as a part of the Feast for Thoughts quest.
