How To Find and Defeat Valley Yamabushi in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

The Valley Yamabushi is part of the Yamabushi Imposters you have to take down in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

The Yamabushi Imposters are an organization you have to defeat. This notorious gang has various troublesome elements spread throughout the map. You will encounter some of them while completing other quests.

One of these villains is the Valley Yamabushi. Here is where to find the Valley Yamabushi, and how to defeat it in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Where To Find the Valley Yamabushi in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

These imposters are part of the ‘Yamabushi Imposters’ questline, which can be started by talking to Genpaku (who is found in the Yamato region). This target can be found while doing the Monk’s Wake quest.

The Valley Yamabushi will be located in the south-western part of the Iga region. You will find him next to the cabin for the Monk’s Wake objective.

How To Defeat the Valley Yamabushi in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

This enemy is a kanabo-wielder. Although the Kanabo can do lots of damage, it is slower to use. Therefore, you should just watch out for his attacks and dodge when the moment is right. You can wield your attacks in between to damage him. The attacks marked red cannot be blocked or deflected, so be careful of those.

However, you should watch out for him suddenly throwing his weapon at you. This move can catch you off guard if you are not prepared for it. Deflecting the attack at the right moment will also leave him open for a flurry of blows.

If you are struggling with this enemy, it might be because of your gear level as well. Consider upgrading your equipment or changing it entirely before tackling this enemy. Moreover, you should also consider assassinating him at the start, to lower his health significantly. These tips should increase your odds of winning drastically.
