How To Unlock Crimson’s Edge Long Katana in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

You can get your hands on the legendary long katana by completing the side quest dubbed Nobutsuna’s Students. Nobutsuna is Yasuke’s instructor, whom you’ll get to meet in the Samurai protagonist’s memories. You’ll see how Nobutsuna trained Yasuke and built him into the formidable warrior he is at present. However, you’ll also run into the instructor in the present timeline, where he’ll ask Yasuke to seek out six of his students for their final lessons.

Yasuke will need to complete each of the six training sessions with Nobutsuna’s students, with each session leading to legendary gear drops. After you’re done with the training, you’ll need to visit Nobutsuna again. He’ll send you out for a final fight with Sanada Masatoyo. Head to the Suzuka Foothills in the Omi region for this fight. When you beat Masatoyo, you’ll finally unlock the Crimson’s Edge long katana.

Alongside its brute damage and posture DPS, this legendary weapon also has an engraving that kills any enemy inflicted with bleed outright if they have less than two health segments. Beyond that, the long katana also increases bleed damage by 25%, allowing Yasuke’s attacks to drain the enemy’s available health quicker.
