How to Obtain Dragon’s Edge Katana in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
Dragon’s Edge, a Legendary Katana, can be obtained by killing Two-Faced (Akechi Mitsuhide) during the Topple the Traitor quest. Akechi Mitsuhide is one of the Shinbakufu members and the mastermind behind the Honnoji incident, betraying Oda Nobunaga and killing Naoe’s father.
After meeting Hideyoshi at the south of Oyamazaki Village during the Topple the Traitor quest, you will be taken to the Shoryuji Castle after a long cutscene. Following Akechi Mitsuhide ultimately leads you to the Oyamazaki Village, where you will face him as both Naoe and Yasuke in a boss battle. Slaying Akechi Mitsuhide rewards you with the Dragon’s Edge Katana, along with the Larger Impact on Dodge Attack Engraving and 255 Mon.

The Legendary Katana Dragon’s Edge is widely regarded as one of the best weapons in Assassin’s Creed Shadows due to its unique perks and attributes. Its Adrenaline Gain stat is a highlight, as it regenerates adrenaline faster, allowing you to perform more frequent abilities during combat. Moreover, its unique perks can create an area of effect (AoE) on hits with dodge attacks. This gives Naoe an advantage against multiple enemies by dealing AoE, making it easier to dodge incoming attacks.
