Shroud Sack is a useful crafting item in Enshrouded, but it can be a hard-to-get item because you can only collect it in the Shroud. Enshrouded is a survival RPG that has a massive map and an in-depth crafting system, which will keep you engaged for hours. In this guide, we’ll cover where to find Shroud Sack, how to get it, and what it’s used for.
How to Get Shroud Sack in Enshrouded
To get Shroud Sack in Enshrouded you will need to have access to the Revelwood area. Once you have access to the region the best locations to farm shroud sacks can be found south of the Revelwood Ancient Spire in the shroud near Lone Thistle. Furthermore, in order to access this region, you will need to Strengthen your Flame Altar to Level 3.
Take the time to complete the Spire if you haven’t already. That will unlock an easy fast travel point that you can use to farm shroud sacks. Then, from the spire, you can use your glider to head south to the large area of shroud. The former town of Lone Thistle and the Alchemist’s Tower sits on the south end of this area.
However, you can drop into the shroud at the northern edge. The enemy types that drop Shroud Sack are corrupted, glowing blue boars and the corrupted, blue spitting plants. Significantly, the boar are the more plentiful enemies in this area, and they should each drop one or two Shroud Sacks for you to loot.
What is Shroud Sack, and what is it used for?
In Enshrouded you’ll use Shroud Sack to upgrade your Glider, as well as crafting Arrows. Getting a better glider in Enshrouded is a huge boost to your exploration and treasure-hunting speed. You’ll need to have the Carpenter survivor in your home base in order to craft the advanced glider at Level 10.
To upgrade to an Advanced Glider in Enshrouded, you will need:
- 6 Shroud Wood
- 4 Linen
- 4 String
- 8 Shroud Sack
Additionally, you can also use Shroud Sacks to craft Shroud Arrows. You can craft 25 Shroud Arrows with just 1 Shroud Sack, 1 Goo, and 10 Twigs. Using these arrows, you can aim at a target and release a could of Shroud on impact.
Shroud Sack Location in Enshrouded
Travel to the Revelwood area to get your hand on the Poison Sack. Unlock the fast-travel point of Revelwood region by completing the Spire. Then, glide south towards the former village of Lone Thistle. In this large shroud area, you will find two different types of enemies you can kill to get Shroud Sack.
Blue-Colored Plants
The first monster is a glowing blue-colored living plant that drops the Shroud Sack upon defeat. This plant attacks you by spitting blue sludge, mitigating your health. You can dodge their attack and use ranged weapons to kill them.
Blue Razorback Boar Creatures
The second type of shroud monster that drops Shroud Sack is a corrupted, glowing-blue boar enemy. These can roam in small packs of two or three. They attack by charging into you for a stun, or by spitting blue projectiles at range. You’ll want to have a strong melee weapon to deal with these.
