How to Get the Eversight Ring in BG3? Explained
You can get the Eversight Ring in Baldur’s Gate 3 by entering the House of Healing Morgue, breaking into the Morgue Lab and unlocking an Opulent Chest inside.
The Morgue is found in Reithwin Town on the west side of the Shadow-Cursed Lands in Act 2. The Shadow-Curse is powerful here, so you will need to have a Moonlantern or Pixie Blessing first before you can safely enter.
The House of Healing can be found on the northwest side of town, and the Morgue is located just west of it. There are two different ways you can enter the House of Healing Morgue in BG3:
- Use the Ominous Crevice just east of the Grand Mausoleum waypoint.
- The main cellar door, down a flight of stairs to the west of the House of Healing.
In this case, using the main cellar door will get you closest to the Eversight Ring. In this antechamber, head for the big wooden doors straight ahead. There will be a large fight against zombies in the next room, so be prepared.
Afterward, head west on the map to find the locked Morgue Lab Door. You will need to pass an 18 DC Sleight of Hand check to lockpick it open. Finally, once inside the room head to the upper northwest corner. There you will find an Opulent Chest. Again, you’ll need to pass a 14 DC Sleight of Hand chest to open it. Then you can loot the Eversight Ring from within.
How to Use the Eversight Ring in BG3?
The best way to use the Eversight Ring in Baldur’s Gate 3 is to equip it on a Shadow Magic Sorcerer or a Way of Shadow Monk builds. The Eversight Ring will give you full protection and immunity from the effects of the Darkness spell. Darkness is a level 2 Evocation spell that casts a cloud of darkness in an 18-meter radius. All creatures caught within it become Blind.
Therefore, when wearing the Eversight Ring, you can cast the Darkness spell right on top of yourself. It will not affect you, but will instantly make any enemies within the radius vulnerable.
