This guide has been updated for Season 1, Hotfix 1.1.0 of the First Descendant.
Ultimate Bunny Build Guide for The First Descendant
In The First Descendant, Ultimate Bunny is the standout character thanks to her appealing design, quick movement, and potent area-based damage. Her abilities revolve around electricity and accumulating stacks to unleash powerful attacks. The more Bunny moves, the more electricity she generates, making her perfect for players who enjoy fast-paced, dynamic gameplay. As a result, players will find themselves constantly hopping around (like a bunny) to maximize their potential and enjoy their energetic playstyle.
The major downside of Ultimate Bunny is her need for MP to maintain her speed, making her having to dance around the battlefield picking up drops and balancing your resources. Additionally, players must maintain a constant, aggressive playstyle with heavy movement in close combat. Despite these drawbacks, the advantages far outweigh the cons. Ultimate Bunny is one of the strongest characters in the game, ideal for leveling up and clearing any content in The First Descendant.

Ultimate Bunny’s Exclusive Equipment
Rather than having exclusive equipment, Ultimate Bunny has her ultimate equipment, the Ultra-lightweight Mobile Battlesuit ‘White Rabbit’. You can access it by clicking details in the Descendant menu and customizing the appearance of her suit. Below are the details on Ultimate Bunny’s Ultimate Equipment:
“This Ultimate equipment wasn’t originally intended for Bunny, but an unexpected ‘field test’ conducted by Bunny revealed its true potential. The micro-vibrations of the battlesuit boots gave even greater power and speed boosts thanks to the biocurrents generated by Bunny, allowing her to generate even more currents and manifest Arche abilities that are many times more powerful than before. The only downside is that the rare element unique to this Ultimate equipment turns her hair white.”
Best Skill for Ultimate Bunny
Lightning Emission is Ultimate Bunny’s best ability because it’s her kit’s best mobbing skill. The best way to use this skill to generate a bit of electricity by moving around, can be generated faster if your second skill is active. Once you reach enough energy you can activate Lightning Emission to form a damaging area-of-effect around you. This area will pulse with damage as you cover as certain amount of distance hitting any enemies caught inside.
Use Charge of Light to run while generating Electricity and increase your movement speed to cause faster pulses of damage. Look for blue cubes on the ground to increase your MP and constantly maintain high Electricity by using a charge of light. You will need a constant supply of Electricity to activate any of your skills so focus on keeping up this unique resource.
Lightning Emission is a Singular skill, and the damage can be boosted by the Tingling Singularity Reactor, which boosts the Electric and Singular skill power boost. Singular Specialist mod can also boost the overall damage of this skill for maximum carnage.
Also, there is a transcendent mod, High-Voltage, that adjusts how Lightning Emission works. The changes are reducing the enemy’s hit to a max of three but massively increasing the damage and range of the skill. This allows Lightning Emission to still be potent with mobbing, ensuring that any enemy hit dies with one hit. Also, lightning emission has become a great damage skill that hits hard to any enemies caught in its range.
Thrill Bomb
Thrill Bomb Skill Features in The First Descendant:
- Summons an Electro Orb to attack nearby enemies and inflict them with Electrocute effect.
- Electric – Fusion
- Creates a Thrill Bomb to deal damage to the nearest enemy in range. This damage increases proportionally to the amount of owned Electricity.
- Inflicts Electrocution on enemies that are hit. Electrocution deals continuous damage at fixed intervals.
- Cooldown: 10.0 seconds
- Electricity Cost: 100.0
- Damage: Skill Power x 130.3%
- Per 10% Electricity Retained: Skill Power x +15%
- Radius: 7 Meters
- Max Expandable Range: 300%
- Max Hits: 6 Enemies
- Continuous Damage: Skill Power x 46.6%
- Continuous Damage Interval: 1.0 second
- Duration: 3 seconds
How to use Thrill Bomb: A proportional bonus skill that creates a big bomb in a roughly 7-meter radius. You can increase the damage by using a skill power modifier and electricity. The strength of the Thrill Bomb is it can apply an electrocution status effect, giving constant damage pulses. Thrill Bomb has a low cooldown and triggers electrocution damage, so this should be your primary ability. Moreover, the skill can hit six enemies at a time, so it can be applied to the maximum number of enemies in the area.
Speed of Light
Speed of Light Skill Features in The First Descendant:
- Description: Increases sprint speed and the amount of Electricity obtained. We recommend using this as often as possible to maximize the amount of Electricity you gain.
- Electric – Singular
- Always moves by Sprinting and increases Sprint Speed.
- Gains Speed of Light.
- Speed of Light additionally gains Electricity while moving.
- Cooldown: 2 seconds
- MP Cost: 12
- Continuous MP Cost Interval: Every Cycle
- Continuous MP Cost: Max 16 in 1 second
- Sprint Speed Increase: 50%
- Acquisition Cycle: per 1 meter
- Acquire: Max Electricity x 0.6%
How to use Speed of Light: You want to use Speed of Light just after a Thrill Bomb or Bunny hop explosion to quickly build up electricity via increased sprint speed. This ability can also be used defensively when you need to peel out of combat but still generate electricity. Moreover, Bunny’s passive collection of energy resources builds up to power your other skills like Thrill Bomb, Lightning Emission, and Maximum power. Therefore, use this ability to rush around and build up energy to maximize the damage from your skills.
Lightning Emission
Lightning Emission Skill Features in The First Descendant:
- Description: Moving around deals damage to nearby enemies and inflicts them with Electrocute effect.
- Electric – Singular
- Activates Lightning Emission for a certain period of time.
- Deals damage to nearby enemies whenever moving a certain distance. This damage increases proportionally to the amount of Electricity owned.
- Inflicts Electrocution on enemies that are hit. Electrocution deals continuous damage at fixed intervals.
- Cooldown: 30 seconds
- Electricity Cost: 266
- Move Distance: Emits every 6.0 meter moved
- Damage: skill power x 167.4%
- Per 10% of Electricity Retained: skill power x +15%
- Effect Range: 7 Meter Radius
- Max Expandable Range: 300%
- Duration: 20 seconds
- Continuous Damage: skill power x 59.8%
- Continuous Damage Interval: 1 second
- Duration: 3 second
How to use Lightning Emission: This skill automatically does the Electrocute status effect, which is perfect in large groups of mobs when they want to pulse with damage. With reduced cooldowns, you can combo Lighting Emission, then Speed of Light, gaining electricity for a Thrill Bomb, and then back all over again. Moreover, the damage is increased proportional to your Electricity, and you want to combo this with Speed of Light to move faster, hit more enemies, and gather more electricity. With a massive cooldown, you want to use sparingly until you gain mods to reduce the time it takes between skill usage.
Maximum Power
Maximum Power Skill Features in The First Descendant:
- Description: Shoots out electricity forward to inflict damage. Damage increases in proportion to skill duration.
- Electric – Fusion
- Discharges electricity forward.
- Deals damage to enemies that come into contact with the electricity, with the damage increasing gradually based on the discharge time.
- Ends when electricity runs out.
- Cooldown: 38 seconds
- Cost Interval: Every cycle
- Continuous Electricity Cost: max 160 in 1 second
- Level 2: Damage Increase Time: Maintain for 0.5 seconds
- Level 3: Damage Increase Time: Maintain for 0.5 seconds
- Level 1 Damage: Skill Power x 505.7%
- Level 2 Damage: Lv. 1 Damage x 20.0% Amplification
- Level 3 Damage: Lv. 1 Damage x 50.0% Amplification
How to use Maximum Power: This can be used as a single target nuke beam channel. Therefore, make sure you have a lot of charge and melt a single target. Since the skill is a single target, it’s preferred for boss fights. You want to keep your charge at full before channeling damage. Moreover, ensure you are in safe potions before sitting in a channel fully exposed to incoming damage.
Rabbit Foot (Passive)
Rabbit Foot Skill Features in The First Descendant:
- Description: Charges electricity by moving around. Landing on the ground after a double jump inflicts damage to nearby enemies.
- Electric – Fusion
- Acquires Electricity proportional to the distance moved. When movement stops, the accumulated Electricity will gradually be consumed.
- Deals damage to nearby enemies upon landing after a Double Jump.
- Acquisition Cycle: per 1 meter
- Acquire: Max Electricity x 0.2%
- Cost Interval: Every cycle
- Cost Amount: Max Electricity in 1 second x 15.0%
- Damage: Skill Power x 128.8%
- Damage Range: Radius 4.0 meters
- Max Expandable Range: 300.0%
How to use Rabbit Foot: Your goal is constantly moving to fill up and dump your electricity when needing area-based kills. Remember that the build-up is proportional to distanced move, so you want to chain this with Speed of Light active ability, increasing your speed when filling up for a bunny hop bomb. The overall passive rewards you for constant movement and distance moved. This is why Bunny must constantly sprint, even if it’s in a circle.
How to play Ultimate Bunny in The First Descendant
Ultimate Bunny darts around the battlefield, collecting energy and releasing it for massive damage. With Ultimate Bunny, staying in constant motion is key to building electricity, which can be unleashed with your Maximum Power Ultimate. The damage increases with the duration of the skill, so keep moving, shooting, and blasting enemies into oblivion!
Movement and Speed: Ultimate Bunny’s passive ability encourages movement, rewarding you with electric charges as you traverse the battlefield. This electricity is used with Thrill Bomb, which deals damage based on the amount of electricity accumulated. To maximize damage, keep moving, tagging enemies, and dropping Thrill Bombs. Bunny should always be moving forward or strafing to continuously build electrical charge.
Damage: Once your electrical charge is full, you can jump and land an electrifying blow, creating a shockwave that damages enemies. Additionally, you can release pulses of electricity with Lightning Emission. The more enemies you tag, the greater the damage, even against single targets. Keep strafing to build up and disperse electricity.
Weapons: Look for weapons with close range and high fire rates, like the Thunder Cage Submachine gun. Weapons with electrical charge or electrocution status effect bonuses will enhance your overall damage and power. Ultimate Bunny isn’t suited for aiming down sights, so choose weapons with high accuracy at close range.
Defenses and Survival Tips: For Ultimate Bunny, offense often serves as the best defense, as her high damage output can neutralize threats quickly. Practice moving from cover to cover to keep building electricity and avoid damage. With Ultimate Bunny’s overwhelming damage potential, enemies often won’t have a chance to hit you.

A secondary choice is the Tingling Mixture Reactor, which boosting Electric and Fusion skills. Singular affects your AOE abilities, and Fusion is your single target burn skill, Maximum Power. Ultimate Bunny’s Story in the First Descendant
The Ultimate Descendant Project refers to a plan in which either the Ancestors’ technology and equipment found throughout Ingris, or their special Arche genes, are refined to suit the characteristics of active Descendants, then applied to them. The ultimate goal being to enhance all Descendants to reflect the Ancestors, the powerful predecessors of humanity. And when the project was announced to the Descendants, Bunny ran as fast as she could towards the Magisters.
“First come, first serve, am I right?”
Of course, there was no such thing as first come, first serve when it came to the Ultimate Project. Moreover, Lepic had already been chosen as the first recipient of the Ultimate technology. With a deflated look on her face, Bunny was about to leave the lab when she noticed pieces of unidentified equipment lying in the corner of the lab. They were components of certain Ultimate equipment restored by the Magisters not long ago. Originally thought to be a full-body skin suit, the restoration could not be completed due to the misfortune of failing to find more data.
Bunny’s Story Conclusion
But these components were as powerful as any finished product. First, the Arche-powered battlesuit boots, using micro-vibrations to aid in the relaxation of fascial contractions, allowed the wearer to maneuver up to their limit. While moving at their upper limits in speed, a specialized helmet provided its wearer with oxygen at a high absorption efficiency, helping them maneuver at such high speeds for an extended period of time. The visor attached to the helmet was linked in real-time with the wearer’s Ecive to provide a range of battlefield information.
The downside was that the suit wasn’t fully restored, leaving the body exposed in several places. But defense was irrelevant if you didn’t get hit in the first place, and this extreme lightweighting was exactly the perfect Ultimate equipment for ‘Bunny.’
How can we be so sure?
Just look at Bunny who wore the suit as soon as she stole it, and is running at the speed of light.
Although the Magisters may have been robbed of valuable items the Ancestors left behind, but at that moment, everyone must have been happy that another Ultimate Descendant Project was successfully completed…
