Assassin’s Creed Shadows lets you play as two distinct characters, Yasuke and Naoe, each with their own set of motivations and, more importantly, quests. The rather bluntly titled “Collection of Crests” side quest is one such quest in the game, exclusive to Yasuke. As the name suggests, this quest sees you searching every nook and cranny of AC Shadows’ gorgeous landscapes for Kamon Crests.

You find this quest by talking to Ota Gyuichi in the Yamato region of the game. With Shadows having one of the largest maps in the series, this quest can be a difficult one to complete. There are 9 Kamon Crests in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and their locations are as shared below:

Kamon Crest	Regions	Locations
1	Izumi Settsu	Make your way towards the Fukushima Ruins to the northwesternmost point of Osaka. Enter the giant tower at the center to find the Kamon Crest.
2	Yamato	The Kamon Crest is in Koriyama Castle in Koryama, northwest of the Nara Heartlands. You will find the Kamon Crest at the base of the tower with the Koriyama Tenshu viewpoint.
3	Yamato	The third Kamon Crest is in the Uda Matsuyama Castle in Uda Matsuyama. You will find the Kamon Crest on the uppermost floor of the tower with the Uda Matsuyama Tenshu viewpoint.
4	Omi	The fourth Kamon Crest is in the Sakamoto Castle in Sakamoto. You will find the Kamon Crest in the building south-adjacent to the tower with the Great Keep viewpoint. Enter the building and climb to the uppermost floor to get your crest.
5	Harima	The fifth Kamon Crest is in Miki Castle in Miki. Enter the castle from the southern end, and scale the scaffolding by the gate to reach higher ground. Walk across the fence and head to the northern side to find the Kamon Crest in a small building.
6	Harima	The Kamon Crest is on the northern end of Hiraiyama Fort in The Warfields. Follow the road circling around from the east and north of the fort and use it to enter the fort from the northern end. The crest is in the big building by the watchtower.
7	Wakasa	The Kamon Crest is in Genbai Fort, on the northernmost end of Mount Uchinakao. You will find the Kamon Crest in the building south-adjacent to the tower with the Genbao Tenshu viewpoint. Enter the building and climb to the uppermost floor to get your crest.
8	Wakasa	The fifth Kamon Crest is in Miki Castle in Miki. Enter the castle from the southern end and scale the scaffolding by the gate to reach higher ground. Walk across the fence and head to the northern side to find the Kamon Crest in a small building.
9	Kii	The eighth Kamon Crest is in the Tsuruga Castle in Tsuruga. Enter the castle by climbing the tree next to the bridge at the northeastern end. The crest is in the building towards the end of the tree path.
