Knowing the locations of all Strangled Adra pillars allows you to earn high XP points and Adra, a key upgrading material in Avowed.
As you explore the dangerous Living Lands, you will find various collectibles. Strangled Adra is one of the main collectibles in Avowed. There are a total of five Strangled Adra pillars scattered throughout the major areas of Avowed. While some are explicitly visible and easily accessible, others require considerable effort to locate.
Interacting with these cyan pillars covered with vines rewards XP points and various rarities of Adra, a valuable item used to upgrade to high-quality gear. In addition to these, finding all five Strangled Adra unlocks the Pillars of Eternity achievement. Here are the locations of all five Strangled Adra pillars in Avowed.
Where To Find All 5 Strangled Adra Pillar in Avowed?
The following section explains where to find each Strangled Adra pillar and how to reach them in Avowed:
Strangled Adra Pillar 1 – Dawnshore
The first Strangled Adra pillar can be found in Dawnshore near the Emerald Stair Gatehouse Beacon. Unlike the others, this one requires some effort to spot.
- Head through the cave entrance at the region, which leads you to a mini-dungeon.
- You must complete certain puzzles by activating switches to pass through two doors.
- After opening the second door, you will find the Strangled Adra directly in front of you.
Strangled Adra Pillar 2 – Emerald Stair
The second Strangled Adra is located in the Emerald Stair. The pillar can be accessed from three nearby beacons—Plateau Junction, Rock Arch, and High Forest.
- You can find the pilar at the north of Tama’s Cabin area.
- Stick to the rocky mountains and climb the cliffs to get to the Strangled Adra, which is found near a secret cave.
Strangled Adra Pillar 3 – Shatterscarp
The next Strangled Adra is in the Shatterscarp region.
- Head far east from the Thirdborn Party Camp until you reach the Broken Crown Rock.
- Upon entering inside the giant rock structure, you will see a small body of water at the center.
- Climb several ledges and leap towards the ledge on the opposite side.
- Crouch through the narrow passage, and you will find the Strangled Adra ahead.
Strangled Adra Pillar 4 – Galawain’s Tusks
The fourth Strangled Adra is located in the Galawain’s Tusks region.
- As soon as you enter the region, you will find a party camp there.
- Head east from the camp and you will eventually locate the Strangled Adra at The Sallow Steppe.
- Make your way through the wooden boards and climb up the ledge to interact with the pillar.
Strangled Adra Pillar 5 – Garden
The fifth and final Strangled Adra is located in the Garden, an end-game area. Entering the Garden marks the true point of no return for Avowed.
- As you progress through the broken aqueduct, you will notice the Strangled Adra at the top on your left side in the open area.
- To reach the pillar, you need to head back and dive into the water.
- Continue through the water and climb the surface.
- Use any throwables to destroy the fauna, which allows you to cross to the other side.
- Once you are on the other side, simply follow the path, to reach the final Strangled Adra.
