How Can You Dismantle Items in Avowed?
Here are the steps you have to follow when trying to break down your unused weapons or armor:
- Step 1: Open up your inventory screen and highlight the item you want to break down.
- Step 2: At the bottom right of the screen, you will see the option marked ‘Stash in Camp/Break Down.’
- Step 3: On PC, press and hold R while your cursor is on the item you wish to dismantle. On Xbox consoles, press and hold the X button.
This will ensure that the item is broken down and you receive crafting components in its place. Keep in mind that you have to hold down the corresponding button for the item to be broken down. Simply pressing the button will send the item to your camp stash. Also, you can only break down armor and weapons, so the game doesn’t allow dismantling your boots, gloves, and trinkets.
