Best Bow build in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

One of the unique fighting styles in KCD2 is ranged as it allows players to attack enemies from a safe distance. The long-range weapons include different types of weapons including Bows, Crossbows, and Handgonnes. The bow is a traditional ranged weapon with decent power and high range, allowing players to shoot the targets from a long distance. The Crossbow is another ranged weapon with not that high range but higher power than the bow weapons. However, they require more time to reload than the bow which makes them a bit slower. Lastly, Handgonnes are the advanced-range weapons in KCD2. It deals devastating damage on the impact and can easily take out a fully armoured enemy with one shot. However, it is the slowest ranged weapon in KCD2, and handling it requires a lot of practice.

For players who want to utilize the ranged weapons, the Bow is the best option as it offers high damage and range. In this guide, we will discuss the best Bow Build in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 including the best Bows to use along with the best armour, perks, potions, and poisons.

Everything About Bow Build in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Our Bow Build in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is all about taking out enemies from a fair distance with a couple of shots with the bow weapon. Moreover, this build includes light armour instead of heavy armour for greater movement speed. Having a high movement speed will help you greatly in repositioning quickly and make it difficult for the enemies to catch up to you.

Furthermore, since it is a bit difficult to aim with bows and ranged weapons in general, we will be utilizing various perks to help in aiming, regenerate stamina quickly, and even dish out more damage. As most of the enemies wear armour, they are hard to one-shot. But if you aim at the face and connect your shots, they are as good as dead. So, using a bow does require practicing like other long-range weapons.

In addition to your primary weapon usage, your playstyle also plays a crucial role. The best playstyle for using bows is Scout (Thief). So, if you are someone who has a lot of points in thievery, this build will help you greatly in sneaking around enemy territories and taking them out silently with the deadly bow.

Pros and Cons of Bow Build in KCD2

Best Strategy For Bow Build in KCD2

Best Bow Strategy in KCD2

The best strategy for Bow Build in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is to be silent and take down the enemies without alerting the others. This can only be achieved if you prefer the Scout playstyle and get some points in the Stealth and Thievery Skills. Both of these skills are very powerful in terms of enhancing overall Henry’s stealth abilities.

NOTE: Read out Stealth Build Guide for in-depth information on how to be a stealthy Scout in KCD2

Now, when it comes to Scout playstyle, there are no limits to choosing a primary weapon. However, long-range weapons make the most sense as you have to be sneaky and get away with kills without alerting the rest of the enemies. However, it does require practice in aiming with a bow because with each long-range weapon aiming is different. So, if you are considering making a long-range build with Henry in KCD2, you need to start using the bow in fights or during hunting to gain some experience in Marksmanship. This way, you will be able to put a couple of points in some crucial perks to enhance the overall experience.

Furthermore, this build also requires some crucial potions like Buck’s Blood and Painkiller Brew to enhance stamina and reduce stamina consumption and health loss. Fighting three or more enemies at a time can easily overwhelm you. However, if you continuously reposition yourself and focus on one enemy at a time, you will be able to save stamina for your attacks, blocks, and dodges.

Choose a Secondary Weapon with a bow

In addition to the primary bow weapon, you will need a Dagger to perform the Stealth Kills. For the secondary weapon, I personally recommend you to take a one-hand sword and a shield. Because you will not have heavy armour to tank a lot of hits from enemies and the overall defense stats of a one-hand sword are low compared to a shield. So, if you get into a situation where your bow cannot help you take down enemies quickly, switch to a sword and a shield to fight them. There are various instances during the storyline where you have to engage in a fight with multiple enemies at a time, so it is best to be ready for everything.

Moreover, consider learning combos for Swords, especially the Master Strike technique. Complete the Combat Training I & II quests to learn basic sword combos and techniques. The Master Strike is the most crucial technique in the game and you can use it with any sword.
