ESO Guilds and Glory Celebration 2024

The first event of the new year will have you traveling to some the game’s original DLC zones. You can take full advantage of the festivities by following our ESO Guilds and Glory Celebration Event Guide 2024!

This year the Guilds and Glory Celebration Event begins Thursday, January 18 at 10AM EST, and runs until Tuesday, January 30 at 10AM EST.

Guilds and Glory Celebration Intro

To participate in the Guilds and Glory Celebration event you will need to have access to at least one of the following DLCs:

  • Orsinium DLC
  • Thieves Guild DLC
  • Dark Brotherhood DLC
  • Imperial City DLC

All players have automatic access to the Imperial City DLC, as it is now part of the base game. If you have an active subscription to ESO+ you will also automatically have access to all of the other DLC content, as well. If you do not have a subscription or have not purchased the Orsinium, Thieves Guild or Dark Brotherhood DLCs before, you can find then for sale in the Crown Store.

Additionally, unlike other in-game events, there is no initial quest that you have to complete first. If you have the DLCs and enter the zones to complete the tasks listed below, you will automatically receive the rewards.

Guilds and Glory Celebration Quests Guide 2024

Throughout the Guilds and Glory Celebration, you can earn Glorious Reward Boxes once per day from the first daily quest completed in Wrothgar, Hew’s Bane, or the Gold Coast, or by finishing the Maw of Lorkhaj weekly quest.

Furthermore, during the Guilds and Glory Celebration, you will receive two Event Tickets for the first of the following activities completed each day:

  • Daily Delve and World Boss quests in Wrothgar
  • Daily Delve, World Boss, and Thieves’ Guild quests in Hew’s Bane
  • Daily Delve, World Boss, and Dark Brotherhood quests in the Gold Coast
  • Daily Quests in Imperial City
  • Weekly Trial Quest for Maw of Lorkhaj
  • Killing and looting a Sweeper in Imperial City
  • Killing and looting a Coldharbour Elite Guard in Imperial City Sewers
  • Killing and looting the final boss of Imperial City Prison and White-Gold Tower
  • Killing and looting the final boss of Maelstrom Arena

This means that even if you only have access to the Imperial City DLC as part of the base game, you still have the opportunity to earn your two tickets a day!

Guilds and Glory Celebration Rewards 2024

Aside from the Event Tickets mentioned above, completing all of these available daily quests will offer various different rewards, depending on what zone you complete them in. Bonuses throughout all of the zones include:

  • Double reward boxes earned during Daily Quests in Wrothgar, Hew’s Bane, the Gold Coast, and Imperial City as well as the Maw of Lorkhaj Weekly Quests
  • Double reward boxes earned during Thieves’ Guild Heists and Dark Brotherhood Sacraments
  • Increased resource node drops
    • Not including fishing holes or crafting materials obtained from animals
  • Additional loot from World Bosses in Wrothgar, Hew’s Bane, and the Gold Coast as well as Delve Bosses and Public Dungeon Bosses
  • Additional loot from Sweepers and Coldharbour Elite Guard inside Imperial City and Imperial Sewers as well as bosses in the Maw of Lorkhaj
  • Additional loot from bosses in Maelstrom Arena, Imperial City Prison, and White-Gold Tower dungeons

Glorious Reward Boxes

Glorious Reward Boxes can be earned once per day from the first daily quest completed in Wrothgar, Hew’s Bane, or the Gold Coast, or by finishing the Maw of Lorkhaj weekly quest. The Glorious Reward Boxes may contain the following items:

  • Crafting materials
  • Saleable treasures
  • A style item
    • Ancient Orc, Malacath, or Trinimac if the box is dropped in Wrothgar
    • Outlaw, Thieves’ Guild, or Abah’s Watch if the box is dropped in Hew’s Bane
    • Assassin’s League, Minotaur, Dark Brotherhood, or Order of the Hour if the box is dropped in the Gold Coast
  • Overland item set
  • Companion gear
  • A chance for one of the following items
    • Crafting recipes (from the zone in which you earn the box)
    • Treasure Maps and Survey Reports (from the zone in which you earn the box)
    • Motif chapters
      • Ancient Orc, Malacath, or Trinimac if the box is dropped in Wrothgar
      • Outlaw, Thieves’ Guild, or Abah’s Watch if the box is dropped in Hew’s Bane
      • Assassin’s League, Minotaur, Dark Brotherhood, or Order of the Hour if the box is dropped in the Gold Coast
  • A chance for a Bristleback Hunter outfit style page

Regular Reward Boxes

If you wish to do more than the one daily quest, you can continue to earn Regular Reward Boxes in any of the zones. Regular Reward Boxes may contain the following items:

  • Crafting materials
  • A chance for saleable treasures
  • A chance for a style item
    • Ancient Orc, Malacath, or Trinimac if the box is dropped in Wrothgar
    • Outlaw, Thieves’ Guild, or Abah’s Watch if the box is dropped in Hew’s Bane
    • Assassin’s League, Minotaur, Dark Brotherhood, or Order of the Hour if the box is dropped in the Gold Coast
  • Overland item set
  • A chance for Companion gear
  • A small chance for one of the following items
    • Furnishing recipes (from the zone in which you earn the box)
    • Treasure Maps and Survey Reports ( from the zone in which you earn the box)
    • Motif chapters
      • Ancient Orc, Malacath, or Trinimac if the box is dropped in Wrothgar
      • Outlaw, Thieves’ Guild, or Abah’s Watch if the box is dropped in Hew’s Bane
      • Assassin’s League, Minotaur, Dark Brotherhood, or Order of the Hour if the box is dropped in the Gold Coast.

Earn a Second Glorious Reward Box

You may also receive a second Glorious Reward Box once per day by looting the final boss within the Imperial City Prison, White-Gold Tower, and Maelstrom Arena. This Glorious Reward Box may contain the following items:

Finally, you can also earn additional Regular Reward Boxes by looting the final boss of an event-related dungeon subsequent times. These may contain the following items:

    • Outlaw, Thieves’ Guild, or Abah’s Watch
    • Assassin’s League, Minotaur, Dark Brotherhood, or Order of the Hour

Impressario Rewards Guilds and Glory Celebration 2024

ESO New 2024 Morphing Collectible Molag Bal Illusion Imp Pet

The Guilds and Glory Celebration Event will be the first opportunity players will have this year to earn tickets towards the new Molag Bal Illusion Imp pet! Additionally, the Impressario will have those fragments as well as these other items in stock:

  • All three Molag Bal Illusion Imp pet fragments
    • Anchor Chain Fragment
    • Dark Anchor Pinion
    • Effigy of the Dominator
  • The first Planemeld’s Master marking fragment
    • Crematory Ash
  • Bound style pages for the following:
    • Bristleback Hunter outfit style
  • Stonefire Scamp Pet
  • Soul-Shriven Skin
  • Impresario Group Repair Kits
  • Companion Guild Commendations

Finally, the Guilds and Glory Celebration will also be the first time you can pick up the first of three fragments for the Quarter 1 morphing reward. Once you have ‘assembled’ your Molg Bal Illussion Imp, you can work towards acquiring the Crematory Ash to in order to eventually turn it into the Planemeld’s Master skin marking.
