This damage shield is not affected by Battle Spirit. This effect can occur once every 14 seconds. While you do not have the damage shield from this set, reduce your damage taken from players by 5%.
In ESO (The Elder Scrolls Online), Nibenay Bay Battlereeve is a tanky PvP monster set. Aside from giving a little extra critical resistance, it grants a passive 5% damage reduction from players. You also gain a massive shield whenever another player forcefully moves you.
Nibenay Bay Battlereeve procs when another player moves you. This includes any pull, knockback, or teleport ability. You’ll instantly gain a 15k shield if another player moves your character. The critical resistance and base 5% damage reduction make the Nibenay Bay Battlereeve a great tanky monster set for PvP.
Where to Use Nibenay Bay Battlereeve
Nibenay Bay Battlereeve is a solid, tanky monster set with a wide use case. Fortunately, it’s getting better in the upcoming Gold Road expansion. There are a lot of scribing skills with knockbacks, so this set is probably better in the upcoming expansion. While the 14-second cooldown is a little steep, the base effects are good enough to slot this on a brawler and feel the difference easily.
Player vs. Environment (PvE) – Unfortunately, the 5% damage reduction only applies to enemy players. This makes the set useless in PvE content.
Player vs. Player (PvP) – This monster set is also good for brawler builds. For example, if other players forcefully move you in PvP, consider boosting your tankiness with Nibenay.
