The ESO Season of the Dragon Celebration event is here, bringing the promise of great rewards for the fighters of Tamriel willing to face down these fearsome beasts! Season of the Dragon Celebration
The Season of the Dragon is a renaming of the Pan-Elsweyr event from the summer of 2021. If you’ve never participated in this event before, you’ll need to meet some pre-requisites in order to join the fun:
- You will need to either have an active ESO+ subscription, or have separately purchased the Elsweyr and Dragonhold DLCs.
- The Elsweyr DLC unlocks the Northern Elsweyr zone, while the Dragonhold DLC unlocks the Southern Elsweyr zone
- Open up the Crown Store and ‘purchase’ (there is no actual cost, it’s free!) the “Bane of Dragons” quest
- You can also pick up the quest next to the Impresario tent
Season of the Dragon Celebration Rewards
During the Season of the Dragon Celebration you can receive extra rewards for the following:
- Double reward boxes for all Daily Quests in Northern and Southern Elsweyr
- Increased resource node rewards (not including those from fishing holes or crafting materials obtained from creatures)
- Bonus loot from World Bosses, Delve Bosses, and Dragons
- Bonus loot from the bosses in the Sunspire Trial (in addition to earning two coffers for the Trial’s Weekly Quest)
Event Tickets
The Season of the Dragon Celebration is also one of the main ESO events in which you can earn tickets to spend at the Impresario! Each day, you can earn up to two tickets:
- One Event Ticket for completing a Daily Quest in Northern Elsweyr
- One Event Ticket for completing a Daily Quest in Southern Elsweyr
- Note that to acquire the Dragonguard-specific Daily Quests in Southern Elsweyr, you must progress the Dragonhold main storyline.
As always, the items which the Impresario stocks changes from year to year. There are often collectables which can be earned and ‘assembled’ into a desired special mount, furnishing, skin or other game item. Remember that there is a 12-ticket limit in your inventory, so be sure to spend tickets once you reach the max amount! Otherwise, you may lose out on your tickets for the day.
Elswyer Coffers
The first time you complete a Daily Quest in either Northern or Southern Elsweyr each day, you’ll receive a Glorious Elsweyr Coffer, which is guaranteed to contain either a Motif Chapter style page or a page for the new Ja’zennji Siir style.
Glorious Elsweyr Reward Boxes can also contain the following items:
- Guaranteed one of the following items:
- A green, blue, or purple Elsweyr salable treasure
- Guaranteed one of the following items:
- A blue or purple Elsweyr overland set item
- A chance for one of the following:
- Elsweyr crafting style item
- Elsweyr crafting motif style page
- Anequina, Pelletine, Dragonguard, Shield of Senchal, and New Moon styles
- A chance for one of the following:
- Transmutation Crystals, Dragon’s Blood, Dragon’s Plunder, Dragon’s Rheum, or Dragon’s Bile
- Elsweyr treasure map
- Dragon document recipes
- NEW Claw-Dance Acolyte armor style page
In addition, when you complete certain activities in either Northern or Southern Elsweyr during the event, you’ll have a chance to receive a regular Elsweyr Coffer as an additional bonus reward. These activities include:
- Finishing the Bane of Dragons introductory quest
- Repeating Daily Quests
- Slaying Dragons/world bosses in Northern or Southern Elsweyr
- Defeating Wrathstone and Scalebreaker dungeon bosses
- Opening treasure chests
- Opening safeboxes
- Looting objects such as barrels, crates, etc.
- Looting Psijic portals
- Cracking open Thieves Troves
- Harvesting crafting resource nodes
When you happen to receive a new Elsweyr Coffer, these colorful cartons have a chance to include a host of valuable items, such as:
- Guaranteed one of the following items:
- A green or blue Elsweyr salable treasure
- Guaranteed one of the following items:
- A green, blue, or purple Elsweyr overland set item
- A chance for one of the following:
- Elsweyr crafting style item
- Elsweyr treasure map or survey report
- Elsweyr crafting motif style page
- Anequina, Pelletine, Dragonguard, Shield of Senchal, and New Moon styles
- Transmutation Crystals, Dragon’s Blood, Dragon’s Plunder (1k salable), Dragon’s Rheum, or Dragon’s Bile
- A chance for one of the following:
- Dragon document recipes
- Claw-Dance Acolyte armor style page
