Fallout 4 Ghoul Slayer's Heavy Incinerator weapon

The Incinerator shoots explosive fireballs in Fallout 4, rather than a jet stream of fire. It’s a weapon that has a slow rate of fire. However, the blast damage that it creates makes it a powerful AOE option when you are firing on clusters of enemies.

How to use Incinerator

The Incinerator weapon handles similarly to a grenade launcher, with a major difference in that it shoots massive fireballs that explode on impact. Moreover, what’s unique about the Incinerator is that it comes with the Ghoul Slayer’s legendary effect. Thus, it will deal 50% more damage against ghouls. That makes the Incinerator’s fire damage a great option for dealing with these enemies, especially as ghouls can attack in larger numbers.

Unfortunately, one negative of this destructive weapon is that there is a risk of the fire damage blast also hurting your HP. You can protect yourself against this in a couple of different ways. First, you could craft a heat shield mod to mitigate damage. Secondly, you could choose instead to make use of the Flame Resistance leg mods for your power armor. Conveniently, these were mods you already had to craft during the Crucible quest before you could claim the Incinerator.
