In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, the Yokai targets are a formidable group that you would encounter and have to eliminate as part of ‘The Yokai’ questline. Oshiroi Baba is one of the six Yokais spread across the map. This particular yokai is characterised as an eerie and ghostly woman with white face paint.

The villagers in the town have reported sightings of the appearance of a creepy lady with a ghostly and terrifying face. Her demonic ramblings can be heard throughout the village, and the occurrence is more probable during the night. Let’s have a look at how we can locate and defeat Oshiroi Baba.

How To Find Oshiroi Baba in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

In the objectives tab in the world map, we are given hints to understand the whereabouts of Oshiroi Baba. She is in the region of Yamato to the south of the Nara Heartland. You can only feel her presence at night. Go to the nearest fast travel and reach as close to the location as possible. Set a waypoint to reach the objective.

Once you get closer to her location, you will begin to hear some wails made by her. It doesn’t matter if you sneak up on her or not, as she will be able to hear you regardless of your method of approach. Go through the bushes to the side of your path, and by the house, you will see her.

How To Defeat Oshiroi Baba in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

The moment you approach her, she will inflict her frenzy of attacks upon you. Using your combos and strikes, defeat her. A cutscene plays after you defeat her. Your character clarifies that you haven’t hurt Ichiro or that you want to hurt her. She reveals that she isn’t a yokai and that there was a confusion. After professing her apologies, we spare her and let her go.
