How To Find and Defeat The Fool in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

The Fool is one of the Onryos in Assassin’s Creed Shadows that players need to defeat. Here’s a quick guide on how to assassinate him.

Ise Sadaoki is deep-rooted in the Onryo/Shinbakufu in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Not only is he The Fool, but he is also the son-in-law of The Two-Faced, another member of the Onryo. Since The Onryo are the “Templars” of feudal Japan in the latest AC installment, they go toe-to-toe against the Japanese Brotherhood.

Since The Fool belongs to the group of people who killed Naoe’s father, Naoe has a vendetta against him. Players can find him in the Yamashiro region, and defeating him will reward them with the Steel Blossom Legendary Katana.

Where To Find The Fool in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

There are several main missions leading up to the assassination of Ise Sadaoki. For example: The Bad Brother, The Missing Missive, Inside Help, The Twisted Tree, and The Rising Tide. All these missions are part of A New League, a Chapter in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. After wrapping up all these missions, players will unlock Lost Honor. This is where The Fool meets his end.

The mission takes you to the Yamazaki Castle and starts with Yasuke. His primary objective at the beginning is to kill the guards in the castle that are already marked. This task is pretty easy to execute if you are used to the basic combat mechanics of dodging and parrying by now.

Next, the game will automatically switch you over to Naoe, where she needs to unlock the inner gate. Simply stick to the roofs and avoid enemy detection until you reach the objective marked on your map. Lastly, you will switch to Yasuke once more to kill some more guards and then execute The Fool.

How To Kill Ise Sadaoki in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

When you reach Ise Sadaoki, The Fool is pretty easy to take down. This is one of the few bosses who is not a nuisance in open combat. Naoe might have had some difficulty killing Sadaoki, but Yasuke can make quick work of him.

He is not alone, unfortunately. So, just like the fight against The Ox, we would suggest that you kill the accompanying guards first. This is to ensure that the rest of the fight is easier and that you don’t get ganged up on later. He can execute some heavy attacks in quick succession that can be easily dodged. As soon as you get the window, attack Ise Sadaoki, and you will soon be done with the fight.
