How To Find and Pray at Sumiyoshi Shrine in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

The Sumiyoshi Shrine has three separate locations in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and you can pray at them to gain Knowledge Points and XP.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is an RPG, so naturally it has a lot of optional objectives for you to do. One of them is the Shrines, scattered throughout the map of Shadows for you to find. These are religious Japanese places of worship, and in the game, you can seek them out and pray at them to gain some rewards.

The developers have added a lot of different shrine locations to the latest AC title. However, in this article, we will only discuss the Sumiyoshi Shrine and tell you how you can locate and pray at it.

All Sumiyoshi Shrine Locations in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

The number of individual Shrines in a singular Shrine location can vary from one to another in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. While some locations will only have one shrine in them, others can have multiple. The Sumiyoshi Shrine falls in the latter category.

This religious ground features three separate shrines. However, all of them are quite close to one another, so you can easily pray at all of them without moving around too much. Below, we have discussed all three Sumiyoshi Shrines in Assassin’s Creed Shadows and how to get to them in detail.

Sumiyoshi Shrine Location One

The Sumiyoshi Shrine is located in the southwestern part of Osaka, in Izumi Settsu near the river. The place and objective will be marked on your map, so you should not have too much trouble reaching it. Once you reach it, you will find a lot of different religious buildings in an open space. The first Shrine will be between the southwestern entrance and the north entrance. It is the largest building there, with some NPCs standing in front of it, so it will be fairly easy to spot. There, you will be able to pray at the middle gate.

Sumiyoshi Shrine Location Two

The second shrine is also easy to find. Once you are done with the first location, go towards the exit on the north side. Additionally, you can also open your map and move towards the lake to find the northern gate. The shrine will be right next to the gate, resembling a wooden stall. When you find it, simply approach it, and you will have the option to pray.

Sumiyoshi Shrine Location Three

The last Sumiyoshi Shrine will be in the same place as the previous two locations, as we discussed. Since we have already covered the northern gate and the large building, to find the third shrine, you must go towards the west. To be more specific, you must head towards the gate in the western corner. There you will find a shrine looking like a wooden stall, similar to the first one we covered. Then, all you will need to do is pray to complete all three Sumiyoshi Shrine locations in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Rewards for Completing Sumiyoshi Shrine in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

The Sumiyoshi Shrine is an optional objective in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, so the rewards for it are quite simple and minimal. Once you complete praying at all three Shrines in Sumiyoshi, you will receive a single Knowledge Point and 500 XP.
