Another way to approach this location is from Dehengen’s Cottage in the west. From the cottage, head east across the bridge to the next island. Then, go north across another bridge.
Turn right on this island and head around the cemetery on the south side. Jump across the wooden platform, and then go left up the path that slopes upward. Then, turn right between the rocks and you should hear the voice of the Pyromancer. He’ll burst into flames as you approach and afterward, you can safely take Anextli’s Grimoire from the ground next to him.
How to Use Anextli’s Grimoire in Avowed?
The best way to use Anextli’s Grimoire in Avowed is by equipping it to a Wizard or Court Augur build. Both of these builds will primarily utilize spellcasting, and the bonus spells provided by the grimoire will be very useful.
Even though you will have to spend two skill points in the Grimoire Mastery passive, the second Rank unlocks at Level 7. Consequently, this will give you access to Missile Salvo a few levels early. Normally it would not be available to unlock until you reach Level 10.
