How to Get Blackwing Armor in Avowed?

How to Get Blackwing Armor in Avowed

To get the Blackwing Armor in Avowed you will have to play through the main story quest An Untimely End, which begins after you enter the city of Paradis for the first time and are shot by an assassin. When you wake up, you’ll be given a couple of different options to start your search for the rebels. For the quickest way to get the Blackwing Armor, we recommend first finding your new companion Marius.

(steps can be made as h3 headings depending on content)

Step 1- Find Marius

Head to the Grinning Balarok bar in the Underbelly of Paradis. Here you will find Marius in a contentious conversation with a couple of other guys. He’s holding his own, and you can see how it plays out. Afterward, he’ll agree to help you find your assassin.

Head back to the scene of the crime at the city entrance. Here, clues will point to a high point on a tower across the way. Head over and use the platforms on the left of the building to climb your way up. There you will find a container with poison, and Marius suggests talking with the local Apothecarist.

Step 2- Find the Apothecary

The Apothecary can be found in a back alley of Paradis, and he’s being threatened by some local thugs. Defend the Apothecary and you’ll have quite a fight on your hands. Aside from the basic thugs, you’ll have to deal with Thalla the Taskmaster. He’s tanky and deals powerful blows with his club. Try to stay out of his AOE and attack from a distance, letting Kai tank for you.

Afterward, the Apothecarist will give you information that sends you to the Claviger Eamund’s Estate. You can find this location in the section of Paradis Hightown. Inside you’ll need to fight off some thieves, and then do a thorough search. In Eamund’s office upstairs find the Cistern Key and written information about the Rebels.

Step 4- The Cistern in the Temple of Ondra

Now head towards the Temple of Ondra, where you can use the key to open the door to the Cistern at the bottom of the stairs on the left. The cistern will have several levels to travel through, with lots of rebel enemies to find along the way.

Finally, you will reach the last room and meet Ygwulf. He won’t automatically attack you but instead want to talk. He regrets his actions and attempts to explain himself. You have the option of being merciful, but if you want the armor the only way to get it is to attack him.

Defeat Ygwulf and his fellow assassins, and you can finally loot the Blackwing Armor from him.
