The Wondrous Gloves are piece of armor tailor made for Bards, and you can claim them during Act 1 of Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3).
Wondrous Gloves
In Baldur’s Gate 3 the Wondrous Gloves are an armour piece with bonuses specifically meant to benefit the Bard class. The main perk is called Troubadour’s Wonder, grants you one additional use of Bardic Inspiration. Additionally, your armour class increases by 1. Moreover, while these gloves are primarily meant for a Bard character, you can equip these gloves to any class and still receive the +1 to armour class.
The additional use of Bardic Inspiration, however, really makes these gloves best suited to this class. Normally, at lower levels Bards are limited to a single use of Bardic Inspiration per Long Rest. With the Wondrous Gloves equipped your Bard would now be able to buff two party members each Long Rest.

How to Get Wondrous Gloves in Baldur’s Gate 3
To get the Wondrous Gloves in Baldur’s Gate 3 you must first find your way to the Grymforge during Act 1. For a complete walkthrough you can read through our Grymforge Guide. Otherwise, if you’ve already been to the Grymforge you can quickly return using the Underdark- Grymforge way point.
Next, you’ll want to head up the stairs to the south and then at the top turn around to the right. Walk by Stonemason Kith and down the path until you can make a turn to the left/west. There will be some back areas here were you can climb down and around. Make your way back south again and you should come to a slightly more open area with a symbol on the floor and three chests nearby. Depending on who you have in your party, a character may make a comment about it being associated with a Harper cache.
Try to interact with one of the chests and a cut scene will show them turning into mimics. Mimics are slow moving creatures so make good use of your ranged attacks and spells. They are immune to Acid, so don’t bother using those spells or arrows.
Once they’ve been defeated you can loot them and claim the Wondrous Gloves!
