Getting Stripped Logs in Minecraft
The main way that you can attain stripped logs is by making it yourself. It does naturally generate, but very rarely in villages. But if you wish to make it yourself, you have to first craft an Axe. You can get a stripped log with any axe, so even a wooden axe works fine. To turn a normal wooden log into a stripped one, simply interact with any type of log using your axe. This turns it into a stripped log.
A stripped log is nothing but a normal barkless log. It does not have any other purpose other than making stripped wood and being a decorative choice. If you break down a stripped log at a Crafting Table, you would still get four normal wooden planks. Now that you know how to get stripped logs, let’s craft stripped wood.

Making Stripped Wood in Minecraft
Stripped wood and stripped log are two different blocks. The stripped log still will have an upper and lower texture showing where it was cut from. However, the stripped wood has the same texture all around, making it best for aesthetic builds. To get stripped wood, you have to craft it using four stripped logs.
Here’s how you make stripped wood in Minecraft:
- Make a Crafting Table and place it down.
- Interact with it to open the crafting interface.
- Place four of the stripped logs into a square pattern. You can use the image above for reference.
- Drag three of the stripped wood blocks in your inventory to finalize the crafting.
