The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – All amiibo Figures and Bonuses

amiibo Figures for Tears of the Kingdom

Welcome to our Tears of the Kingdom – All amiibo Figures and Bonuses Guide!

For those who may not be familiar with Nintendo’s amiibo, they are a series of “toys-to-life” figurines first launched by the company in 2014. What this means is that these small toy figures, usually of popular Nintendo game characters, are able to connect to and interact with Nintendo gaming devices. Including the Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, and Nintendo Switch consoles.

In short, if you purchase one of the toy figures and scan it while playing a corresponding game, the chip inside will ‘read’ this connection. Consequently, some sort of bonus will drop for you in-game. These bonuses can very from items and materials, to mounts, armor or weapons, and (in certain games) the character itself.

The digital items which the amiibos provide in-game are generally considered to be accessories, rather than a necessary component of the gameplay. They are, of course, sold separately and Nintendo’s tight supply control can sometimes mean that some of these figures get a little costly for what is supposed to be a kid’s toy.

But in this case that’s usually only because the broad appeal of the combination of physical figure and in-game items is so appealing to a broad audience. Let’s take a look at what amiibos and bonuses will be available for Tears of the Kingdom!

Tears of the Kingdom amiibo Figures

So far there are four ‘main’ amiibo for Tears of the Kingdom, with one being a brand new release and the three from previous Zelda releases/games. Each of these amiibo will reward the player with a unique paraglider fabric.
