Complete Gutanbac Walkthrough

The concept on this shrine is simple, but the execution can sometimes be troublesome. You’ll be using Ultrahand to maneuver shapes through holes in walls so that they can be used again to get to the next stage. Here are the specific steps:

  • As you run forward, look to the left. You’ll see an ‘X’ set into the wall and an open doorway. Go inside to find a long, funny shaped piece. Note that from the ends looking down, the piece looks like an ‘X’
  • Pick it up with Ultrahand and move/rotate the object until you can fit the first end through the ‘X’ slot. As you do so it may get hung up on the sides, but just move Link forwards/backwards to jiggle it a little and the rest should move through.
  • Drop the piece and run back out to the main room
  • Pick it back up again with Ultrahand and use it as a bridge over the gap ahead.

First Box Puzzle

  • In the next room, look to the right. There is another oddly shaped hole in the wall and a doorway inside.
  • Head in, and grab the blocks with Ultrahand. It may take a bit of messing with the rotation controls, but don’t give up!
  • Once the cubes are in the bigger space, move them to the top of the room towards some ledges you can’t reach.
  • Set the cubes down so that you can climb up to the ledge.
    • HOT TIP: If you can’t get them set just right, try and drop them so there is a gap beneath the higher cube. You can move Link underneath and use the Ascend ability to get yourself up there
  • Grab the chest, then drop back down.

Second Box Puzzle

  • Now the really tricky part – pick the cubes back up and now you’ll need to maneuver them through the smaller gap on the left hand wall.
  • This may take a lot of rotation. Again, don’t give up, and keep trying. It really will fit through.
    • HOT TIP: You don’t have to exactly fit the whole piece to that shape. Get one cube to fit through, move it forward and then shift the whole thing over so that the other cube will go through.
  • Once the cube are through, there will be another set of steps for you to set them on. Remember, if you can’t figure out exactly how it goes, set the cube so there is a space underneath the higher one and use the Ascend ability to get up.
  • After that, it’s straight ahead to get your Light of Blessing!
