With less than two weeks to go before the highly anticipated launch date of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, it appears that leaks of the game are already starting to drop online.
Before going any further, we’ll say right up front that you won’t see or read any of the leaked information or videos here. And if you want to avoid spoilers, we highly recommend that you either mute certain words on social media or simply stay clear of fan discords (and possibly the internet in general) for awhile.
Early leaks of hot, new games is something that certain isn’t uncommon in the industry. So far, these leaks of Tears of the Kingdom seem limited to early game images and livestreams of some gameplay mechanics. Nintendo, which has been keen to keep many of the story elements a secret so far, is sure to try and quickly quash any posted videos or images they can find.
However, this being the internet, the spread of videos and spoilers is likely to only pick up in the coming days. Again, if you’re excited to play the game without any extra knowledge than what Nintendo has shown in the gameplay reveals and trailers be extra cautious while scrolling though the gaming corners of the internet.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom releases on May, 12, 2023.
