The new Tears of the Kingdom game offers many new complex abilities, including Recall power that will help Link easily explore and solve puzzles. This short guide explains Recall Ability and how you can utilise it.
Recall Ability in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
In The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, Recall Ability reverse the object’s motion to its previous stage. Any object that moved recently, regardless of the force that caused it, can be relocated to its previous position. This power repeats the exact path of an object.
We can expect it to be used to fix small mistakes that you can make. For example, if you push the stone from the hill and it won’t end up at the location you want it to be, you can use recall to move it back to the top of the hill and have unlimited tries. I can also see it being useful when solving many puzzles and exploring obstacles.
Another usage for Recall could be in combat. Foes sometimes throw objects at Link. Maybe timing it right and using Recall power on those projectiles will backfire them, dealing damage to enemies? We will need to wait and see.
In the official gameplay, producer Eiji Aonuma used the Recall ability on a sky rock that fell from the sky, one of many sky islands, a new biome and structure ready to be explored. Mr Aonuma climbed up on the rock and cast Recall on it. The object flew straight up to when it was hanging before, acting like a lift for Link.
