Assassin’s Creed Shadows offers you plenty of opportunities to put your skills to the test, enticing you to do so by handing lucrative rewards before your very eyes. No activity in the game reflects this better than the new castles. Castles are large levels in AC Shadows that act much like forts and camps from the previous games. You enter the castle and you have high-ranking officers to assassinate and treasures to loot. The objectives may seem simple, but they require you to have mastered the very art of being a deadly shadow. 

The Mibuno Castle is one of the moderately challenging castles in the game. This castle provides you with two targets to assassinate: the Samurai Daisho. These high-ranking officials are heavily guarded, requiring you to survey the area carefully and exploit openings to get the kills. Once you’re done with the Daisho, you can then claim your reward in the form of a Legendary chest that holds immensely valuable items.

Where Is Mibuno Castle in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Mibuno Castle is located in the Iga region of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, towards the northwest end of Mibuno Vale. This castle is northwest of the Mibuno Ponds waypoint and directly north of Naoe’s House. If approaching from the northern end of the map, you’ll find the stronghold southeast of the Tejikara Vista fast travel point. 

Mibuno Castle Samurai Daisho Locations in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Mibuno Castle has two Samurai Daisho that you need to assassinate. You head to higher ground and scout the area to mark these targets, after which they shall have a helmet icon floating over their head. The Samurai Daisho can be found in the following locations: 

• Samurai Daisho #1: The first Samurai Daisho is in the courtyard towards the center of the castle.
• Samurai Daisho #2: The second Samurai Daisho is in the southwestern corner of the castle grounds. The official is at the base of the watchtower along the southwestern perimeter.

Mibuno Castle Rewards in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Kura Key

You’ll find the Mibuno Castle Kura Key in a small shed along the northern perimeter of the Mibuno Castle. Keep walking east along this perimeter and you will find a door where you can put the key to use. 

Legendary Chest

The Mibuno Castle Legendary Chest is in the large tower at the very center of the castle grounds. This is the tower right in front of the courtyard where you killed the first Samurai Daisho. This chest will grant you the following rewards:

• 3,000 XP
• 2 Mastery Points
• Minogame’s Protection – Legendary Trinket
