The Baseball Launcher in Fallout 4 is a machine gun capable of launching baseballs and can be obtained during the When Pigs Fly Quest.
The Baseball Launcher rapidly shoots out modified or explosive baseballs dealing high damage once it’s charged up. It is a powerful weapon that can be obtained from one of the enemies found during the quest “When Pigs Fly”. This weapon does have a charge-up mechanic before being able to fire it similarly to the Minigun. So make sure you give yourself time to charge the weapon before enemies get close to you. As a result, this makes for a very fun weapon that is intended for enjoyment versus a meta-defining weapon.

- Location: In Cambridge, looted during the When Pigs Fly Quest
- Looted From: Enemies found within the When Pigs Fly Quest. After the quest, the weapon and ammo can be purchased from the new vendor Suggs where the quest ends.
How to Get Baseball Launcher in Fallout 4
In Fallout 4, the Baseball Launcher can be found in Cambridge after the completion of the When Pigs Fly quest or purchased from a new weapon dealer.
Sugg’s Shop is quite easy to find since it’s located in one of the first big cities you get to, Cambridge. The shop is located Northwest of the Greenetech Genetics or Southeast of the Kendall Hospital. You need to make your way to this location to begin the necessary quest or to purchase it from the vendor.
Looting the Baseball Launcher
During the new quest, When Pigs Fly, you will face multiple different enemies. One of these enemies will be using the Baseball launcher as a weapon. For us, the enemy was one of two Marvin’s Store Security guarding Sugg’s Shop at the conclusion of the quest. After eliminating them, the Baseball Launcher and some additional ammo will be lootable.
Purchasing the Baseball Launcher
Should you not want to do the quest or accidentally misplace your Baseball Launcher in Fallout 4, you can always purchase it directly from Suggs. Making your way to his shop location in Cambridge and selecting barter in his conversation options will open the shop and allow you to purchase the weapon. It’s not a very expensive weapon, only costing 212 Bottle Caps.

You do begin with a little bit of ammo if you looted it during the quest and picked up the ammo from the same person where the weapon was. One of the massive benefits of this weapon is that you can retrieve the baseballs should you launch them within enclosed areas. This can help tremendously in maintaining a healthy amount of ammo without having to constantly purchase new baseballs.
How to Use the Baseball Launcher?
In Fallout 4, the Baseball Launcher is a launcher that fires baseballs like you were holding a batting cage machine. While it seems like a joke weapon, it still packs quite the punch even unmodified. Also, due to the nature of the ammo, you can retrieve the baseballs after firing them to keep the carnage ensuing. So we recommend utilizing this weapon indoors and in smaller rooms to allow easier baseball collecting. Lastly, it does require charging up to fire so keep this in mind as it gives enemies time to close the gap and deal damage.
