Fast travels are a real time-saver if it comes to exploration and open world games like Redfall. Additionally, It’s a way to avoid boredom and truly enjoy activities you like.

This short guide will explain how to use fast-travel historical markers scattered in Redfall’s open world and when you can start using them. Also, we added some helpful tips about Redfall exploration.

How to Fast Travel in Redfall?

To travel fast in Redfall, you need to unlock and find the Historical markers or Safehouses. Those special location points can be found all over the Island. You’ll be able to start exploring and looking for them after the first short introduction mission, the Dead in the Water.

Redfall Island is a large area with two noticeable zones, Redfall and Burial Point (unlocked later in the game), split into smaller districts. While exploring, killing bloodthirsty vampires and going sightseeing can be entertaining, sometimes you’ll just want to travel quickly to the next quest location.

You need to perform the following steps to fast travel in Redfall and save yourself some time

  • Complete the starting Mission, the Dead in the Water
  • Leave the Redfall Fire Station
  • Explore and locate on the map your first Safehouse (house icon) or Historical point
  • Press “M” (default key bind on PC) to open the Map
  • Select any of the unlocked Historical Points or Safehouse Icons to be transported There.

Redfall Exploration and Map Guide and Tips

We included in our guide the following exploration tips so if you are starting the game, you’ll know what to keep an eye on the map:

  • Always unlock Historical markers and Safehouses if you are nearby, Safehouses are also respawn points if you die.
  • Check every car trunk and chest, they may contain valuable supplies or robust weapons
  • Food can restore a small amount of your character’s health. It’s much less than Med Kits, but you often can find many items in one place and quickly come back to 100%
  • In-game settings->Gameplay->Ui/HUD, you can turn on the “Object Highlights” option. This will highlight items that can be picked up from the world, so you can easily notice interactive objects from a larger distance.
  • Use the middle mouse button to place custom marks on the map, those will show on your compass (long bar on the top of your screen) and show the direction of your marked location.
  • Often check your inventory to equip new, better weapons and salvage the old worst ones.
  • Pick up every mission you find, levelling in Redfall can be a slow process, so every additional source of experience is valuable
