Sadly there is no method in Redfall to respec your character’s skill points and redistribute the upgrades before you reach a certain point in the game.
This short guide explains skill points and how to respec and spend them if you want to avoid the need to respeccing them.
Can you Respec Your Character Skill Points and Upgrades?
You can respec or reset your hero character’s skill points and upgrades when you reach level 10. You’ll have to wait a long time because levels in Redfall progress slowly, and it can take time before you reach it. After you meet the level 10 requirements, to respec your skills, you need to visit a safe house, and your skills will be available to spend again for free.
Creating the perfect character is all about the balance of survivability and damage. Also, if you play higher difficulty, ensure you spend your point wisely at the beginning of the game, you can’t respec your skill points and upgrades in Redfall until level 10.
Each character has the same amount of skill upgrades to choose from. Reaching the top of the skill tree will require some grinding, so focus on specific abilities or strategies first. I advise you to start with one or two points into the health tree first, then upgrade your favourite abilities. It’ll increase your survivability when learning the game’s mechanic, and later you can respec and skip those points if you don’t need them anymore.
Can I change my hero character during the campaign?
After you choose your protagonist, you can’t change them in the same playthrough. To play a different hero, you must start the new campaign and start from the beginning. Luckily you can have multiple playthroughs and enjoy the game with each hero.
