Recently we learned about all Redfall platforms and launch dates, but PlayStation wasn’t among them. For a while now, there was the belief that the new Arcane Studios game, Redfall, was cancelled for PS5 by Microsoft. However, the company corrected the rumours.
Redfall is an open-world, single player and co-op first-person shooter which takes place in the fictional town of Redfall, Massachusetts. Battling powerful, sinister vampires on a darkened east coast island, players can expect robust build crafting, in-depth weapon customization, and multiple hero characters to choose from. A highly anticipated game, players are eager to know the Redfall platforms and release dates!
Will Redfall launch on PlayStation 5? All Redfall Platforms
After the interview with French media, players believed that the PS5 version of Redfall was “pulled” from production by Microsoft at some stage of the game’s development. This resulted in surprise and negative opinions from social media and can cause new controversies between Microsoft and Sony. Thus, Microsoft decided to correct the rumours that began after Harvey Smith’s comments may have been taken out of context or possibly misinterpreted.
Redfall will not launch on Play Station, and no release dates have been announced for Sony’s console. However, according to Microsoft, they didn’t cancel and didn’t “pull” Redfall’s PS5 version from production. Instead, Arcane Studios decided “to focus on PC, Xbox Series X/S and Game Pass. Additionally, Redfall will launch on Xbox Game Pass day one, on May 2nd, 2023.

- Steam (PC) – releases on May 2nd, 2023
- Windows PC – releases on May 2nd, 2023
- XBox Series S/X – releases on May 2nd, 2023
- Xbox Game Pass – releases on May 2nd, 2023
