Where Is Uda Matsumaya Castle in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

The Uda Matsumaya Castle stronghold is located in the Yamato region of Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This castle is northeast of the Uda Town Kakurega fast travel point. If approaching from the north, head southeast from the Nara Heartland fast travel point to find the castle. We recommend using the Uda Town Kakurega fast travel point to make your approach, as it is in close proximity to the castle.

Uda Matsumaya Castle Samurai Daisho Locations in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

As stated earlier, the Uda Matsumaya Castle Castle has 4 Samurai Daisho for you to hunt. These high-ranking officers patrol the castle grounds, often with guards nearby. Hence, it is wise to survey the area and scout for the guards before dropping in for the kill. The Samurai Daisho locations are as given below: 

• Samurai Daisho #1: The first Samurai Daisho patrols near the southwestern perimeter of the castle grounds.
• Samurai Daisho #2: The second Samurai Daisho is in a courtyard on the northern end of the castle vicinity.  
• Samurai Daisho #3: The third Samurai Daisho is at the base of the large tower towards the center of the castle. 
• Samurai Daisho #4: The final Samurai Daisho is in the courtyard southeast of the large watchtower at the center of the castle.

Uda Matsumaya Castle Legendary Chest Location and Rewards in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

The Uda Matsumaya Castle Legendary Chest is in the large tower beside the southeastern perimeter of the castle. The chest will spawn in after you’ve killed all four Samurai Daisho. This chest will grant you the following rewards:

• 3,000 XP
• 4 Mastery Points
• Legendary Onna-musha Kosode – Legendary Light Armor
