Despite the small 5-meter radius, group members only need to step into the circle to get the buff. When combined with a set like Syrabane’s Ward, your group could have 42% block mitigation. However, the current content doesn’t provide a significant use case for such high group block mitigation, although it might be relevant in future encounters or the upcoming Gold Road Chapter.
PvE
As mentioned in PvE, there are currently few scenarios where such high group mitigation is required. Some Hard mode trials and dungeons with specific mechanics might present opportunities for this set as a creative alternative.

You can get Black-Glove Grounding armor, weapons, and jewelry from bosses and chests in the Oathsworn Pit dungeon, on any difficulty. Below, you can find how to get specific items from the Black-Glove Grounding set:
- Chests may drop Black-Glove Grounding Weapons and Jewelry.
- All Bosses guarantee one body armor set piece per player.
- The Final Boss ensures one Body armor, Weapon, or Jewelry per player.
You require the Scions of Ithelia DLC or an active ESO Plus subscription to access the dungeon. Oathsworn Pit is a group dungeon, ideally with four players: one healer, one tank, and two damage dealers. Go to the Reach, in north Tamriel. The dungeon entrance is northwest of a Wayshrine.

However, once the set is bound to the specific player, it can no longer be traded. You also cannot trade monster helmets to players who didn’t take part in defeating the final boss.
