Blind Path Induction

Blind Path Induction Features and Set Bonuses in ESO:

  • Name: Blind Path Induction
  • Type: Dungeon Set
  • Available Armor Weight and Items: Light Armor, Jewelry, Weapons
  • Location: Oathsworn Pit
  • Requires DLC: Scions of Ithelia
  • Armor Set bonuses (Level 50 – CP 160):
    • (2 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
    • (3 items) Adds 4% Healing Done
    • (4 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
    • (5 items) Increase the strength of your Damage Shields by 13% to you and targets 15 meters of you. Increase your Healing Done by 13% to targets more than 15 meters away from you.

In ESO, Blind Path Induction is a light armor set with five set bonuses. You must wear at least two pieces from the set to activate the first bonus to Critical Chance. Wearing more than five items from Blind Path Induction will not grant you any additional buffs, so most ESO players will wear two five-piece sets and one monster set to get the maximum performance.

The first three bonuses add Maximum magic and more healing, making it a perfect setup for a healer.

The last bonus further increases healing to all allies within 15m of you. Additionally, all spells that apply shields to you or your group will be stronger (can absorb more damage before they break). It’s a set focused on healing. Players who have just started and are still learning the game can sometimes use it for additional survivability.

How to Use Blind Path Induction Set in PvE and PvP?

Overall, ESO Blind Path Induction is an excellent set to use if you are starting and don’t have a lot of competitive healer options. As you progress and gather more gear, you will probably swap it to meta armor sets. Regardless, it provides good healing for beginner healers and will be especially effective with the Arcanist Class, which can easily provide shields to the group.

PvE

Hard Mode and end-game healer role is focused mainly on providing buffs to the group or debuffs, aside from healing. A well-coordinated and experienced group needs less healing and more ways to boost their damage and kill enemies as quickly as possible. As a result, Blind Path Induction won’t find much use in competitive PvE groups.

PvP

PvP Helers that rely on shields to provide survivability for the group will find the 13% shield bonus extremely valuable. In PvP, the more damage you can absorb or “out heal,” the longer you can stay in offense and apply pressure to the enemy. The group will still need a healer with sets like Rallying Cry or Phoenix Moth Theurge. Still, some groups may find the Blind Path Induction set helpful to increase group survivability, especially in more coordinated groups in ESO called “ball groups” as a PvP Arcanist Healer.
