Flawed Helldusk Armour

Wearing the Flawed Helldusk Armour in Baldur’s Gate 3 brings both offensive and defensive advantages. Firstly, the Lesser Infernal Retribution feature inflicts 1d4 Fire damage on any foe who strikes the wearer within a close range of 2 meters. This adds an extra layer of damage to the wearer’s defense, punishing attackers.

Moreover, the Superior Plate aspect of the Flawed Helldusk Armour reduces Piercing damage taken by the wearer, mitigating incoming damage and enhancing overall durability. However, it’s important to note that wearing this armor imposes a disadvantage on Stealth checks, potentially hindering the wearer’s ability to move stealthily or remain undetected.

Despite this drawback, the Flawed Helldusk Armour remains a formidable choice for classes such as Paladin, Fighter, Rogue, Cleric, and Barbarian, but any class with Heavy Armour proficiency can use it effectively. You can equip it to your character’s hand armour slot in the inventory, providing additional bonuses and buffs.
